The 32nd Meeting of the American Society of Primatologists will be held in September 18 – 21, 2009 and lucky for those of us at CSUF, it is being held right in our backyard!. The conference will be held and the Bahia Resort Hotel, 998 West Mission Bay Drive, San Diego, CA. This is a perfect opportunity to meet with fellow primatologists and other students with similar interest. There is a group planning to attend so if you are interested in carpooling, riding the train together, or sharing hotel rooms please contact us!
2 anthropology department professors, Dr. Peter Fashing and Dr. Nga Nguyen, will be giving an oral presentation on Sunday September 20th. You can read the abstract by clicking on the title below.

Meeting this Thursday 03 September, 2009

Hi everyone! I hope the beginning of your semester has gone fairly smooth and you haven’t missed out on any classes due to the budget cuts. The Primatology Student Association will be meeting this Thursday, September 3rd at 4:00 p.m. in MH 426. I will secure a different room for the future but for now we will use the anthropology office. We will be holding elections, discussing this semesters fundraisers and talking about the American Society of Primatologists annual meeting being held in San Diego this month. Hope to see you all there!
